So, I finished this book last night, and in the end, Tiffany talks about marriage. So that's what I want to talk about--marriage. I am currently dating this boy, Adam, and I am in love with him. We've been off and on for two years. I've had one other serious relationship and this one is the best by far. A lot of things are different--I am older and much wiser. Anyways, I know I'm young and many people would disagree, but I really think I could marry this boy. We've talked about it a lot and at this point in my life, I'm not here for BS relationships. I hope everything works out for us. Marriage sounds wonderful. Being able to be on my own, sleep in the same bed with him every night, wake up next to him every morning, have a family and raise children together. Sure, we fight and have many, many disagreements but we know each other inside and out. There's also a lot of steps to take before marriage. I may be young, but I am definitely not dumb. I am not going to jump into marriage. Sure, it seems right and I want it. But I need to go to school first and he needs to go to school. We need to know we can be independent from our parents. It's a lot. I would in a heartbeat make that commitment to him though. We've talked about getting engaged soon. Engaged being within the next year. We decided we may get tattoos instead of a ring--my idea--and many people would say it's dumb because I may regret it if we break up. But I don't think I would. I love him enough to do it and if we break up then it's a part of my past that I would want to remember.
I would like to meet married couples and would like their point of view on marriage. Is it really as wonderful as it seems? Is there more to it that I'm not seeing? I'm just curious to other people's opinions on things.

The Trials of Tiffany Trott
So, I've decided I'm going to use this to blog about things that I read about. Therefore, this will be very random :]
The book I am currently reading is called The Trials of Tiffany Trott and it's about a thirty-seven year old woman who is single. So she goes through all these ways of trying to find a date. She puts out personal ads and even joins a dating agency. So the question of the day is would you ever put a personal ad in the paper to look for a mate?
My answer is no, I wouldn't. I think there are way too many crazy people in the world to advertise myself in the paper. I mean, someone could call and sound nice and then if I went to meet them they could kill me! Way too many crazy things happen. But that's just my opinion. Obviously a lot of people do this for whatever reason. But I think it's insane! I would never answer a personal ad either because once again--people are way too crazy these days. Some people end up being nice and harmless, but I would not risk that. And I'm curious to see if anyone would and why. I find it interesting.
