The Last Song 2

I finished The Last Song last night. What an amazing book. I got teary eyed a few times, but I never actually cried. It's a sweet story about family relationships and falling in love. Why can't the boys in my stories really exist? Haha.

Falling in love is powerful. It's amazing and heartbreaking all at once. Does any love really and truely last forever? I've fallen in love twice. My first love, it's still is amazing & heartbreaking. The situation is very complicated and confusing. I don't really want to blog about it. My second love, well that's amazing and heartbreaking too. He's not here right now and it breaks my heart to think about it. But everytime I hear from him, I smile from the inside out. It's amazing how things work out though. This book made me think about the men I've fallen for. It brought back good & bad memories. But nonetheless, it is an amazing book. I can't wait for the movie, though books are always better.

The Last Song

I began reading The Last Song yesterday. It is so good! I'm only on page 200 of 390, but so far, it's amazing. I can't see Miley Cyrus playing the part of Ronnie just because at the beginning she's so rebelious, but she just barely hung out with Will, the summer love interest. So, maybe things change. I am so excited to see the movie. Even though movies aren't as good as the books.

This book makes me miss Cameron. Only three more years. It's a long time, but every two weeks when I get a letter in the mailbox from him, I smile. It's hard--the entire situation. But I like reading love stories that bring back memories <3

On Off

So, I just finished On, Off. What a sad book. Though all murder mysteries are. Serial killers always have a trademark, something they keep of their victims. This one kept the heads. So gross :[ He preserved them. Could you imagine being the family of a sixteen year old girl and putting her body to rest headless, only months later to recieve the head. How sad.

Anyways, it was a good book. Next to come--The Last Song. And I am excited to start it so I can go see the movie with my mom & sister next month. I need to focus on school though & working out to take my mind off of all this stress lately.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Dear John Movie

Today I went and saw Dear John with my mom & my sister. It was good, but the book was definitely better. If you haven't read the book, I suggest watching the movie first because otherwise you'll expect too much. But it was a good movie, don't get me wrong. I always read books before the movies & I always like the books better.

Speaking of books made into movies, I still want Twilight the 3 CD special edition and guess what comes out on DVD on Tuesday--just in time for Valentine's Day!? The Time-Traveler's Wife. Amazing book! I haven't seen the movie yet but I want it!!!

Dear John

S0, I have less than 100 pages left in Dear John and it just got really sad. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it though. But it made me remember 9/11 and also think of those fighting overseas for our freedom. Thank you soliders!

I have just been so busy being a mom and trying to find time to do all my school work and run. I didn't run last night but I definitely am tonight. Life is stressful lately. But I swear I will finish Dear John today. I'm addicted. For now though I really need to do my work. But you all should take a moment to thank the soliders fighting for us, even the people who disagree with war because they are risking their lives for our freedom.
